Educational Qualification:

1. Launch Mechanic
2. i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
3. ii) Five years service on seagoing vessel with one year independent charge of engine and auxiliary machinery
4. Sukhani
5. i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
6. ii) Seven years service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
7. Seaman
8. i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
9. ii) Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessels with two years in helmsman and seamanship work
10. Greaser
11. i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
12. ii) Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessels on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
13. Tradesman
14. i) Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
15. ii) I.T.I. certificate in Mechanical/Diesel/Mechani/Fitter/Turner/Welder/ Electrician/ Instrumental/Carpentry.

iii) 2 years experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair Organisation

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between 18 to 25 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 4. Greaser – Rs.5400 – 20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/-
