Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent Educational qualification.
Age Limit: (As on 05.03.2024)
Applicants must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 01.08. 2024, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1992 and not later than 01.08.2003
Relaxation of Upper age limit:
For SC/ ST Candidates – 5 years
For OBC Candidates – 3 years
For PwBD (Gen/ EWS) Candidates – 10 years
For PwBD (SC/ ST) Candidates – 15 years
For PwBD (OBC) Candidates – 13 years
Applicants Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Norms.
Number of attempts: Every Applicants appearing at the Exam, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted six (6) attempts at the CSE. However, relaxation in the number of attempts will be available to the SC/ST/OBC/PwBD category Applicants who are otherwise eligible. The number of attempts available to such Applicants as per relaxation is as under:
For SC/ ST Candidates – Unlimited
For OBC Candidates – 09 years
For GL/EWS/OBC Unlimited for SC/ST Candidates – 09 years
