Educational Qualification:

1. Violin (Carnatic Style) – Passed 12’n 1+2 stage) or its equivalent examination wrth not less than 50% marks in aggregate 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/STiEx. Servicemen/Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks is also not insisted upon in the case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification
2. Tabla (Classical) – Matriculation Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/lTl approved by NCVT/SCVT with not less than 50% marks in aggregate. 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/Ex. Servicemen/Persons With Disabilities (PWD) candidates. 50% marks is also not insisted upon in the case of candidates who possess qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed qualification.

Age Limit: (As on 01.01.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be between be between 18 to 29 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
