Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
| 1. Group ‘C’ Level-4/Level-5 – Level-4: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University and for the skill test prescribed dictation speed of 80 W.P.M. duration time 10 minutes and transcription time is 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi) for the post of Jr. Stenographer. Level-5: A University Degree or its equivalent. |
| 2. Group ‘C’ Level-2/Level-3 – Passed 12th (Plus-II stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational qualification must be from a Govt. recognized Board/Council. Note :- For appointment against Sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification is 10th pass. However, the training period for such sports quota appointees will be 03(three) years, unless they pass / possesses ITI qualification in the relevant trade, in which case it will be six months. |

Sports norms for Level-2/3 and Level-4/5:

Level 5/ Level 4 – (a) At least 3 rd Position in any of the Championships/event in the World Cup (Junior/Youth/Senior Category) / World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior Category), Youth Olympics, Davis Cup (Tennis), Champions Trophy (Hockey), Thomas/Uber Cup (Badminton). |

Level 3/ Level 2 – a) Represented the Country in any of the Championships/events in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) Or b) At least 3rd position, in any of Championships / Events in the Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category)/ Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior /Senior Category) / South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category)/ USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category) Or c) At least 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships. Or d) At least 3 rd Position in National Games Organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association Or e) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities Or f) 1 st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) |
Age Limit:
| Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2024. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Copy of Matriculation or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board, OR the Birth Certificate should be submitted for proof of Date of Birth. (Date of Birth not earlier than 02.01.1999 and not later than 01.01.2006) |

Selection Process:
Selection will be based upon performance in sports Trials followed by Certificate (Sports & Educational) Verification by a duly constituted Recruitment Committee of this railway. The venue & date for Trials and Certificate Verification will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.
Application Fee:
The Examination fee as detailed below to be paid by way of IPO, or Bank Draft. Date of issue of IPO / Bank Draft should not before the date of this notification.
