PSIEC Junior Executive (Clerk), Manager, Peon Selection Procedure/Scheme:

Selection of all posts will be based on written test only. For the post of Junior Executive, the qualifying candidates (10 times of the number of posts as per merit in the written test subject to achievement of the qualifying marks) shall have to appear for test in English and Punjabi on computer at a speed of thirty words per minute.

For the posts of Drivers, the qualifying candidates (10 times of the number of posts as per merit in the written test subject to achievement of the qualifying marks) shall have to appear for Driving test.

The Exam pattern of PSIEC Junior Executive (Clerk), Manager, Peon Exam has clearly mentioned on our website. The PSIEC Junior Executive (Clerk), Manager, Peon Exam Paper has objective type question like

1) Content and Tentative Number of Questions in Written Test (For all posts at Sr. NO. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 i.e. Sub Divisional Engineer(Civil), Assistant Town Planner, Programmer, Manager (Marketing), Manager (HR), Manager (Finance /Accounts, Manager (Legal) Junior Executive & Junior Draftsman)

Written Test will have 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers, each carrying one mark, as per details below:-

  1. Language Proficiency (Punjabi – 10 questions + English -10 questions) -20 questions
  2. General Knowledge / awareness – 10 questions
  3. Mathematical Skill(Matric level) – 10 questions
  4. Mental Ability/ IQ determination – 10 questions
  5. Computer Fundamentals – 10 questions
  6. Field / Discipline related questions – 40 questions

Note:- Candidates for appointment to the post of Junior Executive (Clerk) the qualifying candidates (10 times of the number of posts as per merit in the written test subject to achievement of the qualifying marks) who qualify the test as mentioned above, shall have to appear for a test in English and Punjabi, respectively on computer at a speed of thirty words per minute.

2) Content and Tentative Number of Questions in Written Test for posts at Sr. NO. 10 i.e. Drivers; Written Test will have 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers, each carrying one mark, as per details below:-

  1. Language Proficiency (Punjabi – 10 questions + English -10 questions) -20 questions
  2. General Knowledge / awareness – 15 questions
  3. Traffic Rules Awareness and First Aid – 50 questions
  4. Mental Ability/ Maths – 15 questions

3) Content and Tentative Number of Questions in Written Test (For posts at Sr. NO. 11 i.e. Peon. Written Test will have 100 objective type questions with multiple choice answers, each carrying one mark, as per details below:-

  1. Language Proficiency (Punjabi) – 30 questions)
  2. Awareness of Punjab Culture – 20 questions
  3. General Knowledge / awareness – 20 questions
  4. Mathematical & Mental Ability/ IQ determination – 30 questions
