Eligibility Criteria for PGCIL Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:

Field Engineer – B.E./ B. Tech / Bsc. (Engg.)/AMIE in Electronics and Communication discipline with minimum 55% marks from recognized University / Institute + One year Post Qualification Experience in design, engineering of optical fibre network, adequate experience of construction, Testing and Commissioning, operation and maintenance activities of Optical Fibre network system (SDH/DWDM/G-PON/MPLS, etc.). Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Telecom sector shall be preferred.
Field Supervisors – Diploma Engineering in Electronics and Communication Discipline from recognized technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks + One year Post Qualification Experience of construction, Testing and Commissioning, operation and maintenance activities of Optical Fibre network system (SDH/DWDM/G-PON/MPLS, etc.). Experience in PSU/Listed Company particularly in Telecom sector shall be preferred

Age Limit: (As on 15.10.2016)

Candidate’s PGCIL Recruitment Age Limit Should be between 18 to 29 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
