Eligibility Criteria for ONGC Apprentices Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Secretarial Assistant -Passed in 12 class examination under 10 + 2 system of education or its equivalent.(candidates with 3 years Degree in Arts/Commerce/Science preferred)
2. Electronics Mechanic – Passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system with Science (Physics &Chemistry)and Mathematics or its equivalent and Trade Certificate in Electronics mechanics Trade (ITI in Electronics mechanics Trade
3. Electrician – Passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system with Science as one of the subject or its equivalent and Trade Certificate in Electrical Trade (ITI in Electrical Trade)
4. Instrument Mechanic – Passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with physics, chemistry and Mathematics or its equivalent. Trade Certificate in Instrument Mechanics Trade (ITI in Instrument Mechanics Trade)
5. Fitter – Passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and Trade Certificate in Fitter Trade (ITI in Fitter Trade)
6. Mechanic Diesel – Passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or equivalent and trade certificate in Mechanic Diesel (ITI in Mechanic Diesel)
7. Welder (Gas &Electric’s) – Passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and trade certificate in welding(ITI in Welding Trade)(
8. Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Plant) – Passed in 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education with Science (physics & chemistry) and Mathematics or its equivalent and Trade Certificate in Laboratory assistant (Chemical Plant)

Age Limit: (As on 15.03.2017)

Candidate’s Age Limit Should be Minimum 14 and maximum 21 years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
