Eligibility Criteria for OFB Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduate Apprentices – A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a statutory University OR an Institution empowered to grant such Degree by an Act of Parliament OR Graduate Examination of Professional Bodies recognized by Central Government as equivalent to a degree
2. Technician Apprentices – A Diploma in engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government OR a University OR an Institute recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent above.
3. Technician (Vocational) Apprentices – A Certificate in vocational course involving two years of study after the completion of the :Secondary stage of School education recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education.

Age Limit: There is No Upper Age Limit. However , the candidates below the age of 18 years are not eligible to sign the contracts, being the Minor. Their Contracts will be signed by their Guardian

Pay Scale:

1. Graduate Apprentices – Rs. 4,984 /-
2. Technician Apprentices – Rs. 3,542 /-
3. Technician (Vocational) Apprentices – Rs. 2,758 /-

Selection Procedure for OFB Graduate Apprentices, Technician Apprentices:

Candidates will be selected based on Merit List, Interview

The Selection shall be made as per Merit based on percentage of marks obtained in the concerned Degree/Diploma or Certificate Examination of the eligible candidates fulfilling the prescribed Educational and other Qualifications and other relevant-criteria. There shall be NO Test or Interview for Selection. In Case of CGPA/SGPA grading, Candidates must produce relevant documents from there, School/College /University to calculate the equivalent percentage of marks
