Eligibility Criteria for NIT Meghalaya MTS, Junior Assistant Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Assistant Registrar – 1. Post graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade „B‟ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record. 2. Experience of least 3 years at Grade Pay of `4800/- or higher in a reputed organisation. 3. Persons with Commerce or Finance background will be preferred for one of the posts. Desirable: 1. Qualification in area of Management / Engineering / Law. 2. Proficient in handling computerized administration / legal / financial / establishment / academic matters. 3. A Chartered or Cost Accountant degree or diploma for the post of Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts).
2. Superintendent – 1. First class (Hons.) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent grade from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline. OR 1. Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute. 2. At least 2 years relevant experience. 3. Knowledge in use of Office Automation Software.
3. Technical Assistant (Computer Centre/ Civil) One post for each Dept – First Class Diploma of 3 years duration from a recognized University /Institute in Engineering (Computer Science/ Civil) plus 2 years relevant experience. OR Bachelor‟s Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/ Civil) from a recognized University /Institute.
4. Junior Assistant – Bachelor‟s degree and proficiency in use of Office Automation Software.
5. Junior Assistant (Library) – 1. Graduate in Library Science. 2. Experience of at least 2 years working in a Library. OR 1. Post Graduate Degree in Library Science. Desirable: 1. Experience in Library Automation/ knowledge of computerization of Library.
6. Multi-tasking Staff (Welder) – 1. ITI Certificate in Welder Trade. 2. Class 10 passed from a recognized Board. 3. Two Yrs. relevant experience.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed (For Post 1 – 35 Years), (For Post 2, 3 – 30 Years), (For Post 4, 5, 6 – 27 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 1. Assistant Registrar – Rs.15,600/- to 39,100/- with GP of Rs.5,400/-
2. Superintendent – Rs.9,300/- to 34,800/- with GP of Rs.4200/-
3. Technical Assistant (Computer Centre/ Civil) – Rs.9,300/- to 34,800/- with GP of Rs.4200/-
4. Junior Assistant – Rs.5,200/- to 20,000/- with GP of Rs.2000/
5. Junior Assistant (Library) – Rs.5,200/- to 20,000/- with GP of Rs.2000/
6. Multi-tasking Staff (Welder) – Rs.5,200/- to 20,000/- with GP of Rs.2000/
