Eligibility Criteria for NIAB Scientist Jobs 2016

Educational Qualification:

1. Scientist G – Ph.D. in a relevant area from a recognized University with 7 years of R&D experience after Ph.D with original work as evidenced by patents or publications in top ranked peer-reviewed journals; strong potential for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative extramural funding
2. Scientist F – Ph.D. in a relevant area from a recognized University with 7 years of R&D experience after Ph.D with original work as evidenced by patents or publications in top ranked peer-reviewed journals; strong potential for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative extramural funding.
3. Scientist E – Ph.D. in a relevant area from a recognized University with 5 years of R&D experience after Ph.D with original work as evidenced by patents or publications in top ranked peer-reviewed journals; strong potential for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative extramural funding.
4. Scientist D – Ph.D. in a relevant area from a recognized University with 3 years of R&D experience after Ph.D with original work as evidenced by patents or publications in top ranked peer-reviewed journals; strong potential for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative extramural funding.
5. Scientist C/B – Ph.D. in a relevant area from a recognized University with original work as evidenced by patents or publications in top ranked peer-reviewed journals; strong potential for securing and sustaining independent and collaborative extramural funding.

Age Limit:                

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not (For Post 1, 2- 50 Years), (for Post 3 – 45 Years), (For Post 4 – 40 Years), (for Post 5 – 35 Years). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. 1. Scientist G – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + 10,000 G.P
2. Scientist F – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + 8,900 G.P
3. Scientist E – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + 8,700 G.P
4. Scientist D – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay 7600/-
5. Scientist C/B – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100+ 87,600 / 5,400/-
