The Selection Procedure of the Exam will be as follows:

  1. Computer Based Exam
  2. Interview

 

Exam Pattern for NCDC Junior Assistant Posts:

The Exam pattern of NCDC Junior Assistant Exam has clearly mentioned on our website. NCDC Junior Assistant Questions paper will contain questions from their respective branch and will also include some questions of General Aptitude and Reasoning, General English, Numerical Aptitude and General Knowledge.

 

NCDC Junior Assistant Syllabus PDF Download:

(i) Sr. Assistant/Junior Assistant (a) Pattern of Question paper:

– Section A of General Awareness comprising 30 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section B of English knowledge comprising 40 questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section C of General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability comprising 40 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

– Section D of Arithmetical and Numerical Ability comprising 40 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

(b) Standard of examination: As expected from a graduate of Indian University without any specialized study. The difficulty level for the post of Sr. Assistant shall be higher than that for the post of Jr. Assistant.

(c) The question paper shall be different for the posts of Sr. Assistant & Jr. Assistant.

 

(ii) Deputy Director (Gen.) /Assistant Director (Gen.)/Programme Officer (General)

(a) Pattern of Question paper:

– Section A of General knowledge comprising 30 multiple choice questions from carrying 1 mark each.

– Section B of English knowledge comprising 40 questions carrying 1 mark each.

–  Section C of General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability comprising 40 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

– Section D of Arithmetical and Numerical Ability comprising 40 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

(b) Standard of examination: As expected from a graduate of Indian University without any specialized study. The difficulty level for the post of Deputy Director (Gen) shall be higher than that for the post of Assistant Director (Gen), which shall be higher than that for the post of Programme Officer (Gen).

(c) The question paper shall be different for all the posts of Deputy Director (Gen.)/Assistant Director (Gen.)/Programme Officer (General)

 

(iii) Deputy Director (Food Processing) (a) Pattern of Question paper:

– Section A of field of Food Processing comprising 75 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section B of English knowledge comprising 25 questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section C of General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

– Section D of Arithmetical and Numerical Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

(b) Standard of examination: As expected from a graduate in Food Processing from a recognized Indian University

(iv) Deputy Director (MIS)/Assistant Director (MIS) (a) Pattern of Question paper:

– Section A of field of Computer Science/Information Technology comprising 75 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section B of English knowledge comprising 25 questions carrying 1 mark each.

-Section C of General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

– Section D of Arithmetical and Numerical Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each. (b) Standard of examination: As expected from a graduate in Computer Science/Information Technology from a recognized Indian University. (c) The question paper shall be different for all the posts of Deputy Director (MIS)/Assistant Director (MIS)

 

(v) Assistant Director (Legal)

(a) Pattern of Question paper:

– Section A of field of Law with specified emphasis in matters relating to legal/ financial documentation, mortgages, guarantees, hypothecation, recovery suits/claims, litigation in different Courts of Law/Tribunals etc. comprising 75 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

-Section B of English knowledge comprising 25 questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section C of General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

(b) Standard of examination: As expected from a graduate in Law from a recognized Indian University

 

(vi) Assistant Director (Horticulture)

(a) Pattern of Question paper:

– Section A of field of Horticulture comprising 75 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section B of English knowledge comprising 25 questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section C of General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

– Section D of Arithmetical and Numerical Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

(b) Standard of examination: As expected from a graduate in Horticulture from a recognized Indian University

– Section D of Arithmetical and Numerical Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

(vii) Assistant Director (Live Stock) (a) Pattern of Question paper:

– Section A of field of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry comprising 75 multiple choice questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section B of English knowledge comprising 25 questions carrying 1 mark each.

– Section C of General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.

– Section D of Arithmetical and Numerical Ability comprising 25 questions of carrying 1 mark each.
