Eligibility Criteria for KSINC Mechanic, Welder, Fitter Jobs 2017

Educational Qualification:

1. Welder -ITI / NCVT certificate in welder trade. Short listed candidates will be required to undergo a welding test conducted by IRS (Indian Register of Shipping) + Minimum 3 years experience in a reputed firm. Preference will be given for those who had passed IRS welding tests and / or Experience in ship yards or ship repair yards.
2. Fitter – ITI/ NCVT certificate in fitter / marine fitter trade + Minimum 2 years’ experience in a reputed marine work shop or at least 6 months experience on board a ship as marine fitter.
3. Diesel Mechanic – ITI / NCVT certificate in the relevant trade
4. Electrician – ITI / NCVT certificate in the relevant trade

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 35 years (Post 1, 2). The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
