Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Specialist –
Post Code No: 3220231 – Anaesthesiology – 2 (UR)
Posts Essential Qualifications:
(i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of education qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956)
(ii) A postgraduate qualification e.g. M.D. in Anaesthesiology or a recognized qualification equivalent there to.
Experience: Three year experience in a recognized institution in Anaesthesiology after obtaining the qualifying M.D. in Anaesthesiology

Experience: Three year experience in a recognized institution in Surgery after obtaining the qualifying M.S. in Surgery
2. General Duty Medical Officer –
(1) A Medical qualification included in the I or II Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 [persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13 (3) of the Act].
(2) Three years’ experience after one year compulsory Internship.
3. Child Psychologist –
1. M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or its equivalent from a recognized Institute or University. AND At least 2 year experience in Child Adolescent Mental Health in a recognized Institute / Hospital.
2. Valid registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (Central Rehabilitation Register, CRR).
4. Nursing Officer –
1. (i) B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University
(OR)
B.Sc. (Post-certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute / University.
(ii) Registered as Nurse and Midwife in State / Indian Nursing council.
(OR)
2. (i) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
(ii) Registered as Nurse and Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.
(iii) Two Years’ experience in minimum 50 – bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above.
5. X-Ray Technician (Radio-Diagnosis) –
1. B.Sc. in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent (3 years course) from a recognized University or Institution.
2. Two years’ experience in operating radio diagnosis equipment in an established Institute / Hospital / Imaging Centre.
6. Junior Occupational Therapist –
1. Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University / Institute or equivalent
2. Two years experience in Occupational Therapy Department in a Hospital.
(OR)
1. Diploma in Occupational Therapy (not less than 3 years) from a recognized Institution / Hospital.
2. Three years experience in Occupational Therapy Department in a Hospital.
7. Junior Physiotherapist –
1. Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent.
2. Two years experience in Physiotherapy Department in a Hospital.
(OR)
1. Diploma in Physiotherapy (not less than 3 years) from a recognized Institution / Hospital.
2. Three years’ experience in Physiotherapy Department in a Hospital.
8. Medical Laboratory Technologist –
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (OR)
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (OR)
3. Bachelor’s Degree in MLT (Blood Banking) AND With 2 years relevant experience in a recognized Institution/Hospital.
9. Pharmacist – I. (i) Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) One year experience as Pharmacist. (OR)
(i) Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University / Institute.
(ii) Two years’ experience as Pharmacist. AND II. Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
10. Stenographer Grade – II –
1. 12th Class pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University 2. Skill Test Norms
Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m
Transcription : 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) [On computer]
11. Junior Administrative Assistant –
(i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or University. AND
(ii) A Typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi only on Computer. (35 w.p.m and 30 w.p.m correspond to 10500 KDPH / 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).

Age Limit: (As on 16.11.2023)

1. Specialist – Up to 40 years
2. General Duty Medical Officer – Up to 35 years
3. Child Psychologist – Up to 35 years
4. Nursing Officer – Up to 35 years
5. X-Ray Technician (Radio-Diagnosis) – Up to 30 years
6. Junior Occupational Therapist – Up to 35 years
7. Junior Physiotherapist – Up to 35 years
8. Medical Laboratory Technologist – Up to 30 years
9. Pharmacist – Up to 30 years
10. Stenographer Grade – II – Up to 27 years
11. Junior Administrative Assistant – Up to 30 years

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary Details:

1. Specialist – Rs. 67,700/- in Level-11 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC + NPA
2. General Duty Medical Officer – Rs. 56,100/- in Level-10 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC + NPA
3. Child Psychologist – Rs. 56,100/- in Level-10 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC + NPA
4. Nursing Officer – Rs. 44,900/- in Level 7 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.
5. X-Ray Technician (Radio-Diagnosis) – Rs. 35,400/- in Level 6 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC
6. Junior Occupational Therapist – Rs. 35,400/- in Level 6 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC
7. Junior Physiotherapist – Rs. 35,400/- in Level 6 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC
8. Medical Laboratory Technologist – Rs. 35,400/- in Level 6 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC
9. Pharmacist – Rs. 29,200/- in Level 5 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.
10. Stenographer Grade – II – Rs. 25,500/- in Level 4 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.
11. Junior Administrative Assistant – Rs. 19,900/- in Level 2 of Pay Matrix of 7th CPC.

Selection Process:

JIPMER may follow the following process to select the candidates.

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Interview
Test centre of Computer Based Test (CBT): The test centre for computer Based Test (CBT) will be preferable in Puducherry, Delhi/NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchirapalli, Tirunelveli, Vellore, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Rajamahendravaram (Rajahmundry), Tiruvananthapuram, Thrissur, Kochi, Kozikode, Kollam & Kannur or any other places as decided by the Director, JIPMER. However, the candidates cannot claim as a matter of rights to be allotted a centre of their choice. The JIPMER will have the discretion to allot exam centre.
