Eligibility Criteria for High Court of Punjab and Haryana Vacancy 2018:

Educational Qualification:

1. Clerk – The applicant should possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized University. He/She should have passed matriculation examination with Hindi/Punjabi as one of the subject and must have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spread sheets). Note: – The applicant who is possessing the degree of Graduation from any stream i.e. Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer or equivalent thereto is eligible.
2. Stenographer Grade-III – The applicant should possess a degree of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto from a recognized University and must have proficiency in operation of computers (word processing and spread sheets). He/She should also have passed matriculation examination with Hindi/Punjabi as one of the subject. Note :- The applicant who is possessing the degree of Graduation from any stream i.e. Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer or equivalent thereto is eligible.
3. Driver – The applicant should be at least middle pass with Punjabi/Hindi as one of the subject. He should possess a valid licence for L.T.V. He should not have been convicted for any offence for negligent driving and should have a minimum of two years experience of driving a car. The applicant shall possess a requisite experience certificate in this regard.

Age Limit:

Candidate’s Age Limit Should not exceed 37 Years. The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.
