Eligibility Criteria for CUTN Thanjavur Recruitment 2016

Educational Qualification:

  1. Librarian – 1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with atleast 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistenly Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination/degrees immediately preceding the Master’ Degree. 2. 13 years of experience as Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 18 years of experience as a college librarian.
  2. Deputy Librarian – 1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistenly Good Academic Record. i.e. Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination/degrees immediately preceding the Master’ Degree. 2. 5 years of experience as Assistant Librarian in a University Library or a college library or equivalent.
  3. Executive Engineer – 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 10 years of experience in designing systems and construction of buildings, roads, sanitary and water supply systems, including their maintenance in any recognized University/Autonomous Body/Govt. Department or organization/PSU. 2. Knowledge of computer applications
  4. Assistant Librarian – 1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently Good Academic Record with knowledge of computerization of library i.e. Under Good academic record Candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in each of the two public examination/degrees immediately preceding the Master’ Degree. 2. Qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by UGC is mandatory. However, candidates who have been awarded Ph.D degree in accordance with UGC regulation 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
  5. Assistant Registrar – 1. Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of ‘B’ in the UGC 7 point scale. 2. The candidate must have Good Academic Record i.e. Candidate must have obtained at leat 50% marks in each of the two public examination/degrees immediately preceding the Master’s degree.
  6. Information Scientist – M.E/M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Information technology with first class having 3 years of experience. or B.E/B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology OR M.C.A./M.Sc (Computer Science) with First class having 5 years of experience in a reputed industry/organization/Institution
  7. System Analyst -M.E/M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Information technology with first class having 3 years of experience. or B.E/B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology or M.C.A./M.Sc (Computer Science) with First class having 5 years of experience in a reputed industry/organization/Institution.
  8. Medical Officer – Recognized Medical Degree (MBBS) of any University and Registered with the Indian Medical Council and completion of rotating internship.
  9. Public Relations Officer – 1. Master’s degree on Public Relation/Mass Communications and Journalism with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in the UGC 7 point scale or Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of “B” in UGC 7 point scale and a Degree/Diploma in Public Relations/Journalism/Media relations or equivalent. 2. Five years relevant experience in the editorial department/centre of any established Newspaper, National News Agency or Television or Film Media/Educational institution/Govt. Dept/PSU.
  10. Security Officer – 1. B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience in designing systems and constructions of buildings, roads, sanitary and water supply systems, including their maintenance in any recognized University/Autonomous Body/Govt. Department or organization/PSU. OR B.E/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of experience in Supervision of erection/maintenance of Electrical works in any recognized University/Autonomous Body/Govt. Department or Organization/PSU. 2. Knowledge of Computer applications
  11. Assistant Engineer – 1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. 2. At least 15 years experience in Police/ParaMilitary forces/Armed Forces of the Union and should have held a post not below the rank of Subedar/Sub-inspector (Executive) or an equivalent position with exemplary service. 3. Holding a valid Driving License (LMV)/Motor Cycle).
  12. Sr. Technical Assistant (Lab) – M.Sc in the relevant science subjects with 55% or equivalent marks with two years of experience. OR B.Sc with relevant Science subject combination with 55% or equivalent marks with five years of experience in relevant Science Laboratory.
  13. Sr. Technical Assistant (Comp) – 1. B.E/B.Tech Computer Science/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Information Technology or M.Sc computer Science or MCA. 2. Two years of experience in relevant field in Government/PSU or Reputed Private organization. Desirable: CCNA/CCNP or equivalent certification.
  14. Junior Engineer (Civil) – 1. B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with two years of experience. OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience in design, constructions and maintenance of buildings and roads.
  15. Pharmacist – 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from recognized University. 2. Two years of experience in relevant field in Government/University/PSU/Autonomous Bodies/ Hospitals/clinics. 3. Proficiency in Computer Operations. 4. Registered with the State Pharmacy Council.
  16. Laboratory Assistants – 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Science subjects from recognized University. 2. One year of experience in science laboratory in Government/University/PSU/Autonomous Bodies.
  17. Laboratory Attendants – 1. H.Sc (10+2) with Science as one of the subjects. 2. One year of experience in relevant science laboratory in Government/University/PSU/Autonomous Bodies
  18. Medical Attendant/Dresser – 1. H.Sc (10+2) with Science as one of the subjects. 2. Two years of experience in Hospital.
