Educational Qualification:

1. Professor:

Essential:

1. A Master’s Degree in Arts/ Humanities/ Sciences/ Commerce and M.Ed each with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) OR M.A. (education) and B.Ed with 55% marks in each (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed)
2. Ph.D. degree in Education.

iii. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching learning process.

1. At least ten years of teaching experience in University department of Education or College of Education of which a minimum of five years at the M.Ed level with published work in area his specialization.
2. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS), set out in UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education (4 th Amendment) 2016. Appendix – III. Table II (B)
3. Associate Professor:

Essential

1. A Master’s Degree in Arts / Humanities / Sciences / Commerce and M.Ed. (c) Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate had been conducted;

(d) Candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one must be in a refereed journal;

(e) Candidate has made at least two presentations in conference/seminars, based on his/her Ph.D. work. (a) to

(e) as above are to be certified by the Vice-Chancellor /Pro-Vice-Chancellor/Dean (Academic Affairs)/ Dean (University instructions)

Pay Scale:

1. Professor – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- With 10,000/9000/- Grade Pay
2. Associate Professor – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000/- With 10,000/9000/- Grade Pay
3. Assistant Professor – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100/- With 6000/- Grade Pay
