The posts are open to all regardless of Community. There is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC. Further, only the candidates qualified in the Trials shall be called for further process.

| 1. Level 5/4 (7th CPC) – Minimum Graduation in any faculty from a recognized University. |
| 2. Level 3/2 (7th CPC) – Passed 12th (+2 stage) OR its Equivalent Examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from recognized Board. OR Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. OR Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT. |

Age Limit:
| Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2024. Candidates born between 01/01/1999 and 01/01/2006 (both days inclusive) should only apply. Candidates born on or before 31/12/1998 are not eligible. Similarly, candidates born on or after 02/01/2006 are also not eligible. (No relaxation in lower or upper age limit for any Community of candidate). |
Central Railway Sports Quota Selection Process 2023:
All eligible candidates will be called for trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks for Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial) shall be assessed for next stage of recruitment. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee, will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.
Application Fee/Exam Fee for Central Railway Sports Quota:
| a. For all candidates except those mentioned in sub-Para (ii) below: Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five Hundred Only), with a provision of refunding Rs 400/- (Rs Four Hundred Only) to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial. After deducting bank charges |
| For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ExServicemen/Persons with Disability/ Women/Minorities* and Economic Backward Class**: Rs. 250/- (Rs. Two Hundred Fifty Only) with a provision of refunding the same to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Trial.
