Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Executive Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
EQ:
(i) First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University OR passed in first class Section A & B Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).
(ii) Minimum experience of 08 years as Assistant Engineer and above OR Minimum experience of 05 years as Assistant Executive Engineer and above from CPWD / State PWD services or similar organized services / Semi Government / PSU / Statutory or Autonomous organization / University System or reputed private organization (with an annual turnover of at least Rs. 200 crores).
DQ:
(i) Experience in construction and maintenance of buildings infrastructure including Internal EI, External Electrifications, Electrical substations, Fire Alarm System, fire detection & protection system, DG sets, ELV systems, UPS, lifts, pumps, HVAC, etc.
(ii) Have experience in planning / estimation / measurement / tendering as per CPWD / PWD norms. Good knowledge of CPWD manuals, preparation / checking of estimates, drawings, bill of quantities, substitute / deviation items, statements and other associated issues related with constructions, project management of constructions and maintenance works.
(iii) Knowledge of Computer & Project Management Tools/Software.
2. Executive Engineer (Civil) – Essential Qualification:
(i) First Class Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute/ University OR passed in first class Section A & B Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India).
(ii) Minimum experience of 08 years as Assistant Engineer (Civil) and above OR Minimum experience of 05 years as Assistant Executive Engineer or above, from CPWD/State Government PWD services or similar organized services/Semi Government/ PSU/ Statutory or Autonomous organization/ University System or reputed private organizations (with an annual turnover of at least Rs.200/- Crores).
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Experience in construction of projects of multi-storey buildings and have experience in planning/ estimation/ measurement/ tendering as per the CPWD/ PWD norms. Good knowledge of CPWD manuals, preparations/checking of estimates, drawings, structural details, bill of quantities, substitute/deviation items statements and other associated issues related with building and constructions.
(ii) Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and Project Management tools/software.
3. System Engineer – Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science & Engg./Electronics Engg,/M.Sc. Computer Science/MCA with seven years experience. OR Master Degree in Engg./Technology in Computer Science & Engg/Electronics Engg. with five years experience. Experience should be at appropriate level in industry / University level Computer Centre in the areas of Servers configuration, storage systems, backup systems, Linux/Unix Software Engg, Design and Validation, Databases, Computer Networks.
4. Junior Maintenance Engineer /Networking Engineer –
(1) B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering
(2) 05 years‟ experience of Computer Network administration and Computer hardware including Massive UPS systems and Centralized Airconditioning Plants/ Computer Systems Management and administration /Maintenance of a campus wide large computer network preferably with fiber optic backbone links from a recognized Public/PSU/Private organization.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of Industrial background.
5. Deputy Librarian – Essential Qualification:
i) A Master‘s Degree in library science/information science / documentation science, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point –scale, wherever grading system is followed.
ii) Eight years experience as an Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian.
iii) Evidence of innovative library services including integration of ICT in library.
iv) A Ph.D. Degree in library science/ Information science / Documentation Science/Archives and manuscript keeping/computerization of library.
6. Assistant Librarian – Essential Qualification:
i) A Master‘s Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point –scale, wherever the grading system is followed)
ii) A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of computerization of a library.
iii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be: Provided that the, candidates registered for the Ph.D. degree prior to July 11, 2009, shall be governed by the provisions of the then existing Ordinances / Bye-laws / Regulations of the Institution awarding the degree, and such Ph.D. candidates shall be exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges / Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions: –
a) The Ph.D. degree of the candidate has been awarded in the regular mode
b) The Ph.D. thesis has been evaluated by at least two external examiners;
c) Open Ph.D. viva voce of the candidate has been conducted; d) The candidate has published two research papers from his/her Ph.D. work out of which at least one is in a refereed journal;
e) The candidate has presented at least two papers based on his/her Ph.D. work in conferences/seminars sponsored /funded/supported by the UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or any similar agency.
Note: (i) The fulfilment of these conditions is to be certified by the Registrar or the Dean (Academic Affairs) of the University concerned.
(ii) NET/SLET/SET shall also not be required for candidates in such Master’s Programmes for which NET/SLET/SET is not conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET
7. Chief Nursing Officer – Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Nursing) with a minimum experience of 18 years of which 5 years in teaching & administration in a recognized Nursing college and 5 years in Clinical management experience in a minimum 500 bedded recognized hospital. OR Persons having nursing experience on analogous posts on regular basis or with a minimum experience of 05 years at Level-11 in Govt./Semi Govt./PSU/Military Hospital.
8. Nursing Superintendent – Essential Qualification: M.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized Nursing College with a minimum experience of 15 years from a recognized College/Hospital (minimum 500 beds), of which, minimum 03 years should be in Clinical management/teaching experience. OR B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized Nursing College with a minimum experience of 18 years from a recognized College/Hospital (minimum 500 beds), of which, minimum 03 years should be in Clinical management/teaching experience. OR Persons having nursing experience on analogous posts on regular basis or with a minimum experience of 05 years at Level-10 in Govt./Semi Govt./PSU/Military Hospital.
9. Medical Officer – Essential Qualification: MBBS with minimum 02 years of clinical experience (after completion of mandatory internship).
Desirable Qualification: Preference would be given to MD/MS/DNB in General Medicine/ General Surgery/ Obstetrics & Gynaecology/ Anaesthesiology/Critical Care from a recognized Medical College/National Board recognized Hospital.
10. Nursing Officer (Female) – Essential Qualification: I
(i) B.Sc. (Hons.) in (Nursing)/ Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute. OR Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council, and
(iii) one year experience in minimum fifty bedded registered hospital after acquiring the educational qualifications mentioned above. OR II
(i) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council.
(ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council.
(iii) Two years of experience in minimum fifty bedded registered hospital after acquiring the educational qualifications mentioned at II (i) above.
11. Nursing Officer (Male) – Essential Qualification: I
(i) B.Sc. (Hons.) in (Nursing)/ Regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University or Institute. OR Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) from recognized University or Institute.
(ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council, and
(iii) one year experience in minimum fifty bedded registered hospital after acquiring the educational qualifications mentioned above. OR II
(i) Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council.
(ii) Registered as Nurse or Nurse and Midwife (RN or RN and RM) with State Nursing Council. (iii) Two years of experience in minimum fifty bedded registered hospital after acquiring the educational qualifications mentioned at II (i) above.

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. BHU may follow the following process to select the candidates.

Application Fee:

A non-refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000/- shall be paid online by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group ‘A’ posts and and Rs. 500/- by the candidates of UR, EWS and OBC categories for Group ‘B’ Non-teaching. No application fees shall be charged from the candidates of SC, ST, PwDs categories and women candidates. The application fee is to be paid through the payment gateway in online application through Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI.
