AMD UDC Selection Process:

The Selection Procedure of the Exam will be as follows:

  1. Written Test
  2. Trade/Skill Test & Interview

 

Exam Pattern:

1. Scientific Officer/C (Medical-General Duty) Selection process consists of the following:

1. Written Test

2. Interview Selection procedure will involve initial screening test/written test followed by interview. Selection is based on the assessment by the appropriate Standing Selection Committee.

Marks scored in the written examination will be used for short listing the candidates for personal interview

2. Scientific Assistant-B (Drilling) Selection process consists of the following:

1. Written Test

2. Interview Selection procedure will involve initial screening test/written test followed by interview. Selection is based on the assessment by the appropriate Standing Selection Committee.

Marks scored in the written examination will be used for short listing the candidates for personal interview

3. Scientific Assistant-B (Physics)
4. Scientific Assistant-B (Survey)
5. Scientific Assistant-B (Electrical) Selection process consists of the following:

Stage-1 Preliminary Test:

Examinations will consist of 50 multi choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of one hour duration in the following proportions

a) Mathematics – 20 questions

b) Science – 20 questions.

c) General awareness – 10 questions

3 marks awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Stage-2 Advanced Test:

All candidates Screened in Stage 1 will be allowed to undertake and Advanced Test for the said post

The test will comprise 50 multi choice questions (choice of 4 answers) of two hours duration.

‘3’ marks awarded for each correct answer and ‘1’ mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

 

Stage-3 Trade/Skill Test:

Based upon the Merit List prepared after Stage-2, candidates will be shortlisted for Skill Test.

The number of candidates shortlisted for Skill Test would depend upon the number of candidates qualifying for Stage-2 but will not exceed 4-5 times the number of vacancies for the said post. The skill test will be conducted on a Go/No-Go basis for qualifying the candidates.

Candidates clearing the Trade/Skill Test will be shortlisted and empanelled in order of merit based on marks secured in Stage-2

6. Technician-B (Drilling/Diesel/Auto Mech.)
7. Technician-B (Electrical)
8. Stenographer Grade-III The selection process consists of the following:

Level-1 Test Objective test covering:

1. General English

2. General Knowledge

3. General Intelligence and Reasoning

4. Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic)

Level-2 Test Stenography skill Test

Empanelment will be based on the marks obtained in Level-1 & 2

Minimum qualifying standard for Level 1 for General candidates will be 50% aggregate and for OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates will be 40% aggregate

9. Upper Division Clerk (UDC) The selection process consists of the following

Level-1 Test Objective test covering:

1. General English

2. General Knowledge

3. General Intelligence and Reasoning

4. Quantitative Aptitude (Arithmetic)

Level-2 Test Stenography skill Test

 

Level I will be only qualifying exam/screening test to shortlist candidates for Level 2 main exam. The criteria for empanelment will be based on marks obtained in Level 2 (Main) only.

Minimum qualifying standard for Level-1 for General candidates will be 50% aggregate and for OBC/SC/ST/PH candidates will be 40% aggregate.

10. Driver (Ordinary Grade) The selection process will be based on the marks obtained in Level-1 &2 consists of the following.

Level-1 Test Objective test covering:

1. General Knowledge

2. General English,

3. Arithmetic,

4. Motor Vehicle Act.

Level-2 Test Stenography skill Test

Empanelment will be based on the marks obtained in Level-1 & 2

Minimum qualifying standard for Level-1 for General candidates will be 50% aggregate and for OBC/SC/ST candidates will be 40% aggregate.
