Category – I Trade (ITI) Apprenticeship Training

Eligibility Criteria for CECRI Vacancy 2020:

Educational Qualification:

1. Category – I Trade (ITI) Apprentices: – Passed out trainees in the particular trade of NCVT pattern designated by Director General of Employment & Training (D.G.E.&T) and who have registered with Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT), Chennai will only be considered for selection.
2. Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: –

– A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.

– A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.

– Diploma under recognized Lateral Entry Scheme [(10+2)/ITI admitted in the second year of Diploma course] shall also be considered.

Candidates will be called for interview through Google Meet. The date and time of interview will be notified in CSIR-CECRI website and also sent to candidates’ Gmail ID.

How to apply for CECRI Apprentices Post:  

Interested and eligible candidates should download the requisite application from CECRI website. The application form duly completed in all respect and signed should be sent to The Administrative Officer, CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute, Karaikudi – 630 003. & reach this office by 31.12.2020 upto 5.30 pm through India post/courier. Candidates are required to send one set of photocopy of all relevant testimonials with self-attestation as indicated below along with the application-

(i) Caste/Tribe Certificate [for SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS candidates as applicable] in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority as prescribed by Government of India.

(ii) All Certificates/Testimonials in respect of DOB, qualifications.

(iii) Experience certificate/Documents issued by the Employer in support of experience

(iv) Candidates should ensure that they submit all the documents mentioned above. In the event of failure to submit any of the required documents as mentioned above within the stipulated period, candidature is liable to be rejected.

Candidates are advised to register as a Trade/Technician Apprentice online in the following portals under the respective State as per their Trades below:

1. Trade Apprentice – ITI at https://apprenticeshipindia.org/candidate-registration
2. Technician Apprentice at www.mhrdnats.gov.in

Candidates applying for online interview should have been registered in the above mentioned portals and their enrollment number should have been quoted in the application. (For registration, please see the instruction given in table below)

Note: When registration in the website, candidate should enter his/father/mother name as given in their Aadhaar, PAN, or any other valid government ID. Before registration candidate should compare your name in their ITI/SSLC certificates with their name in Aadhaar, PAN, or any other valid government ID. Once your name entered in website, it will not be modified/ edited later and the same shall be reflected in your National Apprenticeship Certificate.

For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal (Technician – Diploma Apprentices)

Step 1:

1. Go to www.mhrdnats.gov.in
2. Click Enroll
3. Complete the application form
4. A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated.

Note: Please wait for at least one day for enrollment verification and approval. After this student can proceed to Step 2.

Step 2 :

1. Login
2. Click Establishment Request Menu
3. Click Find Establishment
4. Upload Resume
5. Choose Establishment name
6. Type “CSIR CECRI” and search
7. Click apply
8. Click apply again
